The aims of the Society were to promote and encourage horse-breeding; prepare an Indian stud book; promote uniformity in all matters connected with horse shows in India. Numerous publications were issued and the Patron-in-Chief was the Viceroy. Their flagship event was the Imperial Delhi Horse Show held in February each year. |
