The Manackjee Rustomjee Fund created this medal in 1898 as an annual prize for the student who came first in anatomy. A gold medal was awarded the first time in 1898 and a total of 53 times up to 1947. Record was found at the University of Calcutta but no record was found in the Calcutta Mint die impression registers to which the author had access. |
