The dies were prepared by A.P. Spencer at the Calcutta Mint. Often found in a fitted Calcutta Mint box. It has not been established that this medal was struck in gold. The silver sometimes found suspended from a pin and swivel ring. May also have been struck at the Bombay Mint. |
