This medal was in use prior to 1944 when a new design for the obverse was implemented. It is listed here as it has not been possible to determine the date of first issue. It is known that the Carmichael/Ronaldashay presentation medal (917.3) may have been awarded up until 1933 and this medal have been issued thereafter. |
